BACKGROUND
Litivity’s core mission is ‘Helping Build a Healthier Future’ through the development of impactful programs to empower educators, coaches and carers.

With the population over 70 set to double in the next 40 years we have a core focus on engaging and supporting our senior citizens through physical activity. Remaining physically active in older age aids in minimizing the risk of falls and social isolation.

Together with our partners, we work to identify and develop programs that support our senior citizens in aged care facilities. Through innovative staff training, evidence-based content and unique physical activity programs, we remain committed to the health of all Australians.

PARTNERS
We are proud to be partnering with Dementia Australia, Athletics Australia, Cycling Australia and key educators in aged care.

DATA

Supporting data will help administration reporting for new standards as well as assisting in further research.
INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGY
The cycling program is designed using real local streetscape videos linked to a cycle stand or other suitable pedalling device, allowing the resident to ‘ride’ down familiar neighbourhoods at their leisure with the ability to vary the speed.
The residents accumulate kilometres.

These kilometres are aggregated from an individual, centre and country wide level to encourage activity and increase motivation.
Cycle Method
  • Easy to use and comfortable
  • Number of pedalling device options to suit the user
  • Easily connects to TV screens or oculus glasses
  • Allows the resident to adjust speed within street view
  • Counts kilometres

  • Easy to set up
  • Simple to operate for the resident
  • Linked with cycling device
  • Residents can stop, look around and then continue pedalling
